Five reasons for a CleanLIFE

No matter how old or young you are or how you have purchased, recycled or thrown in a landfill, it is never too late to recognise your purchasing power. There is a collective power in an imperfectly plastic-free life.

Here at CleanLIFE, we are all about a clean life. Co-founders Phil and Corey are passionate about making a difference, and they are Australia's only dedicated manufacturer of plastic-free wipes. You can read more about them in Our story.

If you are still unconvinced, here are five most excellent reasons to join our tribe.

  • Being Australian-made and owned is so important to us. Not just because it creates jobs or contributes to the broader Australian economy but because we love the quality of Australian ingredients, particularly our pristine Australian water, which makes up 75% of the product. Why would you buy from anywhere else when we can make it right here?
  • Plastic free. You are right; most people do not know that wet wipes are plastic. YET! This has created quite a little marketing puzzle for us. But never fear; we have you to help us get this message out there about how harmful these seemingly innocent plastic wet wipes are in creating microplastics that infiltrate our bodies, homes, and beautiful ocean.
  • We have done the sums, and our wet wipes are over 50% less carbon-intensive. Now that we are starting to talk about taking climate action as a nation, buying locally is a simple way to help. Products made locally are instantly better than imported products simply because you have removed the transport emissions to get them here.
  • Australian grown natives - WOW! We also have the most fantastic range of botanicals and natives from regional growers, providing unique benefits with a distinctly Australian scent.
  • You are part of the change. Sometimes it seems like the efforts that we are making for each conscious purchase decision could not possibly make a difference. But they do. We have started the journey to remove plastic wet wipes from Australian shelves. This small action will protect our beautiful oceans and remove millions of pieces of plastic from our environment.
