It is recommended to test the surface before using the Isopropyl Wipes as it may affect the look of the surface. If using the Isopropyl Wipe for a long period of time, it may cause discoloration, but this isn’t always the case.

CleanLIFE Hand and Surface Wipes have no scent; however, CleanLIFE Isopropyl Wipes do have an odour as they contain Isopropyl Alcohol.

CleanLIFE Hand and Surface & Isopropyl Wipes are safe to handle and are primarily designed for wiping down surfaces. We do not recommend using the wipes as a personal wipe or baby wipe. However, CleanLIFE has a range of Baby and Personal Use wipes coming in November 2022.

Yes, CleanLIFE wipes are compatible with a variety of other wipe dispenser units.

Bamboo is a brilliant plant and is very fast growing producing 35% more oxygen than other hardwood trees. When used in its original form for furniture it is a great solution and a sustainable alternative to most woods. However, the processes required to make it into a material suitable for a wipe are not considered as sustainable as wood pulp and therefore we have chosen to use wood pulp from FSC-certified plantations.

Because CleanLIFE wipes are made from organic material, they will break down harmlessly in the landfill. As opposed to a plastic-based wipe which can lead to environmental harm if the microplastics generated when the wipe eventually breaks down are not contained by the landfill liner.

The best explanation to ensure we understand the difference is to understand the following statement:

All compostable material is biodegradable, but NOT all biodegradable materials are compostable.

Read our blog about the difference in more depth.

We have consulted with industrial composters on this – a solution contains typically 97% water or higher and therefore the solution dries out over time and does not impact the compost.

Unfortunately, no, as they must retain moisture over time however they can be reused with refills or can be recycled easily in your home recycling bin.

Yes – they are compostable and can be disposed of in your home green bin for industrial composting. Additionally, CleanLIFE wipes are biodegradable. Learn more about the difference

They are certified to the European standard – EN13432. As the AS4736 & AS5810 standards refer to biodegradable plastics and packaging and CleanLIFE wipes are a 100% plant-based material, they do not comply for this standard.

They are made from FSC Certified Viscose. It is a fibre that is made from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated as cellulose fibre.

FSC Certified Viscose means it is from sources, which are produced from sustainably managed plantations.

We have partnered with world-leading fiber/fabric manufacturers in Europe and Asia to produce the highest quality materials to meet our specifications.
